Tell me it aint sooooo.........

I loved your video! It was so cute how your little chicken kept watching the older chicken and copying her. I am by no means an expert, but it did sound a bit crowing to me. So cute. Your other chicken is so noisy! I love it, I wish my chickens were all that vocal. It's like the noisy one was saying "hey, I want to be on camera too!"

That was definately a baby crow! LOL... I have an 8 wk old doing the same thing. Everytime the big rooster crows, he does his squawky, squeeky little crow. They are so cute when first trying to crow. Mine has been doing it since around 4 weeks old

I also have a 1 yr old hen that tries to crow...so who knows

Definitely a cockerel. He will have some degree of hen-feathering from his Sebright parentage.

I hatched a Sebright(roo) x Australorp(hen) this summer. I don't know how the little guy did it, but it happened

You can see how his saddle feathers aren't completely pointed. He was about 2-3 months in this picture I think.

What a cute little rooster, and a sweet little crow. I'm not able to have a rooster here, but I sure wish I could. I love that sound!
