Hi and welcome to our community!

So glad you could join BYC! Looks like you have some lovely chicks. I certainly understand how messy they can be! Generally, chicks can go outside around 8 weeks old, provided that the weather isn't really cold. You want them to be well feathered out. I would say that your chicks have another couple weeks before they should be moved out. How warm is the weather where you are?

Good luck with your chicks! I hope you enjoy BYC as much as we do.

I know at least here in the US spring has finally hit and the weather is getting warmer! You can bring them outside with you to walk around so they get accustomed to the great outdoors. I agree with Wyandottes- wait a couple more weeks to put them outside, enjoy your time with them inside, they grow up fast!

Welcome to BYC!

I remember once our last batch of chicks "graduated" to outside, we missed them. The house seemed too quiet without their voices chattering all the time.

Hope you're enjoying your flock and as @backyardflock1 said, they grow up fast and once they are outside, you probably won't have them inside with you again. Although some folks do have house chickens, that's a whole other post.

Good luck to you and if you have any other questions, feel free to post.
