Tell me the truth, am I gonna die from this? or My chickens killed me!

Not just ew. But EWWWWW!

Sad thing is, I've caught myself feeding, watering, petting, cleaning cages/pens/coops and wiping my hands on my scrubs as I go. Then I grab some chow without even thinking about it until I've touched my grub. Oddly enough, I have to agree that, icky as it is, I've been healthier in the last 6 months on my new farm than in 6 years of "city-livin' ".

Could also be due to all the wholesome, natural eggs and goatie milk. Rather than the poo-tongue contact. Hard to say.

My dog loves the taste of chicken poo. Of course she makes her own biscuits too.

Not as much hand washing around here as what is recommended, and we have never been as healthy as we are with 33 chickens, 2 ducks, 2 dogs and 3 cats. As a matter of a fact my daughter used to be in and out of the hospital with asthma. She hasent had an attack in 3 years.

raised on a dairy farm with a hundred cows to clean up after - if pooh killed people, I would have been dead 40 years ago.

Soooo... Thats not THAT bad compared to what Ive seen once... I was somewhere on an island of the carribean (a cruise, I can't remember where exactly) but they had wild Iguana's. Some woman was feeding it flowers she found (Not like I know if those are good for the Iguana, but he seemed interested). Anyways.. Before she knew it the iguana bit the whole tip of her finger.... first thing she did after she saw it was bleeding... PUT IT IN HER MOUTH! True story..

Actually, in Central and South America, they are referred to as "chicken of the tree," because they are said to taste like chicken.
