Most cockerels begin crowing at 4-5 months, but the occasional one can take up to nearly a year before he begins crowing and Silkies are frequently one of the slower breeds to begin crowing.

Silkies can  be very slow developing. Are you not allowed to keep roosters where you live?

No I can keep him. Not sure if I should though because my flock is mostly larger hens. Barred rocks, BO, RIR, and SL Wyandotte. He might get himself killed or hurt lol. Right now I don't have a rooster at all. What do you think?

If breeding or egg production is a priority, then I would re-home him and get a standard sized rooster of a breed that has a reputation for being calm and gentle. If you're just keeping a rooster in the flock as a pet, then your Silkie rooster will make an excellent pet.

P.S. If it turns out that he is taking a beating from the larger breed hens, then I would re-home him anyway.

Smaller roosters can be beneficial because they are easier on the hens' backs, so you can keep less standard hens to one bantam rooster.

Yeah.....I wanted a pullet but oh well. I plan on letting him hang around unless he gets himself hurt by the bigger hens.
