What do YOU think? Look carefully at those back feathers. What shape are they? Do they look broad and rounded or thin and pointed?

they look a little pointed. It's been so long sense I've had a hen I don't even remember. He's less rooster-ish than all the others so I hoped.

Is it possible for you to buy sex link chicks or older point-of-lay pullets, or already laying hens? Just to be sure you get some hens and build you confidence back up. I really feel for you.
