Tell me what he/she is!! Please?

We got this bird as the "extra" from McMurray Hatcheries. He acts like a rooster, but is not vocal. Struts around like a cock, but hangs out with a group of hens and a rooster.... I don't get it. Is he as confused as we are? Thanks!

He's not confused at all, he's just young. Brahmas are slower to mature and the roosters are pretty easy going, the younger ones don't challenge the dominant roo by crowing or mating so much. He may start pushing your older roo in the spring, but for now he's just happy on the down-low so he doesn't get his butt kicked

Awesome! Thanks for all of the insight. He is VERY easy-going, which is why we really like him. We have Blue Laced Golden Wyandotte roosters and they're getting to be too much. We ended up with 4 Roosters total, including him. We're getting rid of 2. Too much chaos in the coop... And the noise... UGH.
