Tell me what I am seeing - BAD EGG??

That looks like a bad egg to me. It was fertile at one point, but quit. I don't see any veining.

If it doesnt smell there is no reason to cull it before day 18

Yeah I have the same incubator also. I had a mystery egg that I almost pulled and it ended up hatching..

I just candled some this morning. Could not wait any longer.

The very first one had a blood ring. Am going to look it up to be sure and then I will keep it until my DGD gets here tomorrow and show it to her so she will know what it looks like. Then I candled a couple more of the lighter ones and am pretty sure they are good. THEN I candled one and could see veins and then I saw movement. After that I could see something in all of them.....and movement!

But total I only candled about 8. I marked them with a pencil so I don't do them again.

Know on the blood ring one.

Have a couple of not sures and will do them again in a few days.

We have to follow our guts on some of this stuff.....
