Of course you are welcome. I don't have any chickens either........yet. But I used to raise them years ago and loved my Silkies. Now I'm looking for quality Jersey Giant hens.

A lot of us joined BYC before we owned chickens. It gave us a chance to research and ask questions BEFORE the chicks were sitting in the middle of the living room.

Are you kidding? Your smarter than most by learning all you can before you get birds. Then you won't make the same mistakes some of us have. Plus you'll have a heads up on what breeds you like and can choose more wisely.
