Is there any way to determine the sex of young turkey poults around 3 week old. If not how old are they before you can tell?

If you cross bronzes or bourbon reds with narragnasetts, you can tell them apart at about three or four weeks because the hens start to lighten up like narragansetts and the toms keep their richer coloration. But otherwise, good luck

??????? Really?

I've hunted turkey all my life and a way we tell if a gobbleris around is by finding it's poop. You can tell the gender by poop with older turkeys, but I'm wondering if you can with poults. The gobblers poop is long round and J shaped, a hen's makes a little round popcorn shape.

This is a pic from a turkey book I have on my nook.

While that might work with wild birds, domestic birds diets are totally different and I highly doubt you will have luck in sexing this way. However if you are a true poop whisperer, please head over to my house as I have ten poults I would like to find out about.
