So what I want to do is make my 8x8 building with no floor. I wanted to use 2-4x4x8’ for the front corner post and 2-4x4x6’ for the back corner post and connect them with a 2x4 on top and bottom on all 4 corners and put tin on it. The 4x4s will not be into the ground in case I have to move it. Do you think this will be sturdy enough?

What kind of predators do you have in your area?I think you will need to anchor it into the ground as high winds could blow it over. And if you have bears in your area ,they are surely going to push it over with no effort. You can't think of their pen as a place that they can't get out of.You have to build it so predators can't get into it.

I don’t think I have to worry about bears lol. I have some steel poles I was going to push in the ground to anchor it I guess that way I can still move it if I have to

So what do you have for protection in the winter for your birds? Do you put something around the perimeter?

The grey peacock pheasants, cockatiels, and diamond doves are covered with poly. The rest are wide open. Both my grey peacock hens are laying right now.Now I need to find another male so I don't have to switch my lone male back and forth.Anybody have an extra? He needs to be climatized to cold.

Put some lumber and tin together real quick until I ran out of tin. I got some killer math skills lol. Here’s my shelter coming together
