Egg pick up day is in two days! Long story short:

Eggs will be picked up from the breeder Tuesday evening by a friend.

Friend will keep eggs overnight, then drive 3.5 hours to meet me.

I too, will drive 3.5 hours to the meeting location.

Then I'll have to drive 3.5 hours home with the eggs.

Any advice in regards to how the eggs should be stored in the vehicles for transport? I know the eggs are to be kept at 10-15 degrees Celsius......if my friend keeps them overnight in her basement would that be okay?

Are the eggs fine just in cartons on the backseat of the vehicle? Are they better off in the cargo area....vehicle is a hatchback? We will have 42 eggs in total.

Thank you for any help!
