Hi,
So I'm super confused and could use some advice. I'm just about to start my second batch in a day or so, the first all turned out to be yolkers, likely infertile. I have an older Brinsea Mini Advance that I'm using so I wanted to check and calibrate again before using. I was pretty sure I had it dialed in the last time, but always good to double check. I have the Brinsea set to 37.5 C, 2 thermometers inside are raised 20mm up, but both are reading out different numbers. It's been a couple of hours now and the ZooMed one is sticking around 37.8 the other is hovering between 37.2....

I don't have any other thermometers that I can use and pick my hatching eggs up in the next day or so. What should I do?

Sorry for the bad quality images

Thanks. I just went out and bought a meat thermometer, go figure all the medical ones are sold out locally. I'll do the ice method, I just looked it up and it seems pretty straight forward, but how do I compare it the the ones that fit in my incubator that I can't put in ice/water? I read over that thread you sent...I think I'm missing something.

I tried calibrating my meat thermometer, it's digital, says it's accurate when I do the ice cups but off by two degrees when I do boiling water. The highest it got was 98.1. I'm losing my mind :(
