When I woke up this morning the hatcher was down to 97 or 96-ish. I have borrowed a hova bator 1602N and it sucks!!!! I hate it so much!!! lol. It is the one we used to use when I was younger and I borrowed it from my dad. I am on day three of lockdown. WHAT SHOULD I DO? Is it already too late? We are talking maybe 8 or 9 hours down at 97 or 96. I have it back up now, but the stupid thing is so hard to keep stable!!!! I have a blanket over it to try to help and all the plugs are in. I hate this thing. Thinking about going and getting another LG for my hatching. I have not had any problems with the one that I am using as an incubator.

If you are on day 3 of lock-down, you'll be hatching soon. You're fine, it may delay the hatch a little bit, but I doubt that you would be looking at a total loss or anything. If it were early in the development I would say, maybe, but those are full grown chicks at the stage you're in, so I wouldn't sweat it too much. I wouldn't cover it completely, the eggs still need to "breathe". Depends on where you measure mine, top of my eggs reads 100 but on the base it read 97ish.
