temp for ringneck lockdown??

i have a lot of eggs going into lockdown and am wondering if 99.6 ish degrees will hurt them for lockdown period? just wondering because i have a staggering hatch going, my ducks arent due to hatch for another 6 days and i dont know if dropping their temp will hurt them... ??? any help, please!???

Not sure what temp your ducks need, but pheasants need 99.5 to 100.0 degrees.

The temp will be fine but what are you going to do about the humidity, and turning? You need to raise the humidity for the pheasant hatch, and stop turning them--but you still need to keep the humidity lower and keep turning the ducks. If you have the humidity too high for too long on the ducks they will get too big inside the eggs and be unable to hatch.

This similar dilema several years ago has brought me to my current state: a cabinet incubator and two hatchers

The humidity has been 55-60% through the whole incubation. The ducks are the right size and doing well, the pheasants, chukar and quail are doing great with it as well. Iv only had one quitter so far and it was a quail that quit at about day 12. I was able to mess with the temp enough to get the front half of my incubator at 98 and the back at 99. Adding a couple tenths here and there ofcourse . They're in my homemade cabinet incubator. I'm hoping for the best!
