temp for still air

ok so i know that the temp for a still air is supposed to be 101.5 at the top of the eggs but what about the bottom of them I have been keeping th bottom around 99.5 and never measured the top of them and I have had great hatches......so am i doing it right?

haha thanks i was just worried because this time I bought chukar eggs instead of my own chicken eggs.....

ok thanks ill try and remember that I cant wait for the hatch 12 more days
