temp HELP, Dropped

I had a themometer/ Hydrometer in my bator, it read a steady 99.3 F. And I took the themometer out for the day and the hydrometer read 99% in my home made bator so I took almost all of the water out of it, waited an hour and it still read 99% and temp said 96-98.0 F. And now I put it back in my other bator and now it is saying 96.3 / 63%. Is it my bator or the themometer?

try checking with a different therm/hydro and see if that help

I always use two thermometer/hygrometers in the bator.

Waiting just an hour might not be enough time. Fresh batteries?
