temp/humidity for Guineas?

I am wondering about temperature and humidity for Guinea fowl eggs

are they the same for chickens? just longer or is there some special stuff I need to know about?

Same as a chicken, BUT they are not as dependable on hatch date, I have had some hatch anywhere from 24-29 days. All set the same time, so couldn't have been a temperature problem.

Raise the humidity on day 25...if they last that long...LOL They usually pop out like popcorn once they start...oh and remember....they are FAST! lol

I read that the humidity should not be raised as high for guineas. I always had great hatch rates with mine! Remember they are from Africa where the climate is drier, so it makes sense that they do not need as much humidity to hatch. Chickens originated from the jungle where humidity is higher, therefore they need higher humidity. I never raised my humidity by more than 10% on the guineas, and got about a 85-90% hatch rate. I hatched several hundred last year, and sold them all, even my breeding flock. They're just so noisy
