Well a couple days ago we had a blizzard, and the power went out for a while and the incubator temps got down to 94* for about a day. Then when the power came back on it jumped to 102*. Will they still hatch? it is now day 22 and i dont hear anything, and dont see any pips.

Have you tried candling them to see if you notice any movement? They may hatch later due to the temp inconvenience. Hoping you get some babies!

I wouldn't have thought the temp would affect it too much maybe the dip could make them hatch a bit later. If it was only a couple of days ago they would have been able to hold their own for while. Did you candle?

I cant candle because they're in lockdown, but.............. i just got back home, and there was a chick running around the bator!
I dont see any pips, but its kinda hard to see.

Oh I'm so glad you got a chick running around.

I had one high spike (106) at lock down and it's the beginning of day 21 and nothing yet - no pips, peeps, cracks, chicks. yikes

Good luck on your hatch!

I did some more reading and some hatches go to 25+ days , if temp went low, so you have time for more chickys to hatch *smile* . There is also a water test that can be done if no pips or cracks. Glad there is so much helpful info out there .
