I can't seem to get my bator to 99.5 is it ok if I get it between 98 and 101 or will these temps be too low/high? Please let me know asap cause' have eggs waiting to be put in the bator.

I believe so on a circulated....see if anyone else pipes in here. My incubator is a still air. If you have a water weasel it can give you a better idea of the temp in the eggs.

Good luck.

I have a circulated and I try to keep it at 99.5. It does fluctuate 1/2 degree on either side. From what I hear is you want to keep temps in a constant range.

If the temp isn't perfect, but is within that range, you should still get some eggs to hatch. They may just not do as well. Have you got a water weasel in there? That will give you a better idea of what temperature the embryos are actually experiencing.

If circ air, 99-100 is fine, somewhere in between is perfect. Shoot for right at 100 and you'll be hatching babies as long as the humidity is good the last three days.
