on day 17 my 3 year old son decided to help me out with the incubation while i was at work and mommy didnt realize what he had done. he turned the temp all the way up. by the time i saw what happened the thermometer was reading 120 on the top of the eggs. today is day 22 and i still cannot tell if they will be ok or not by candleing them. this is my first attempt at incubating eggs. so i am not an expierenced candler. from what i can tell i dont see a blood ring. i do see some viens, the air pocket and a dark mass in the shape of a developing embryo. these are turkey eggs by the way. can anyone describe what to look for? i am going to wait it out but i would like some more knowledge of this

I'd leave them & see what happens. It's surprising sometimes what they'll survive in the way of temperature fluctuations.

I agree with Reds. At day seventeen a big dark mass is mostly all you're going to see as they are nearly ready to hatch. They may make it yet. Bring the temperature back to where it should be, make sure your humidity is right then let them be to see what happens. At this point you have nothing left to lose anyway.
