You may find a wiggler at a
Walmart. It's just a toy. I bought mine on
ebay.
Any bator without a fan is a challenge. You can turn it up "just a bit"
and watch it close. When I adjust the temp on my lg's I don't even see
the knob move. Now that you have all those eggs in there the temp
shouldn't spike like it did. My LG has a fan in it and I haven't adjusted
the temp in months. Our house drops to 57 degrees at night and the
LG holds temp better than my
Brinsea or the Hovabator Genesis do in the
same room.
Remember that air temp, especially on still air bators, will swing a lot.
Oh, and don't worry about your eggs. They can easily survive swings of
a few degrees. My bators lost power for 24 hours the other night and
I still had a good quail hatch. We'll see how the others do. Today is
day 21.
