im at day 17 left for incubating my black and blue marans the theromoter i had inside i found out was reading on the cold side i had raised the temp up to make 99.5 when i got my 2nd reader found out was at 105 for about 3 days are these eggs junk ???

I was curious so I cracked one open to make sure was hard boiled on inside I have 16 days left and there was a red spot inside and the rest was like a pail yellow kind of milky

Yeah, that's not good. If you can, try candling the rest. You just never know...

I had trouble with the 2 incubators I borrowed. One was always good and stayed right where I set it. The other One was always fluctuating terribly but it was more with the humidity. There were lots not fertile and half a dozen quitters .....I could fit them all in the one when I took the turner out on day 18. Then lo and behold the other incubator started fluctuating temperatures. From 35.9 to 37.9. On the morning of the 20th I got up to the temperature 38.4 and the humidity 19 %!!! I was horrified to say the least. The night of the 20th the first one hatched and the next day 10 more hatched. It was like popcorn. One more hatched today but that's it. I'm wondering if I should do a floot test and candle them or should I just wait it out .
Any help would be greatly appreciated !!

Thx for the reply the eggs are dark brown candling is hard to see I'm going to wait it out worst case is none hatch thx again.

Wait it out.

I assume you added water when it was 19% RH to get it back up to 70-ish % RH.

Yes I added warm water through the vent hole. And brought it up to 65%.
