Hello everyone.

We are in the process of incubating Barred Rock and Ameraucana eggs in an incubator with auto turner.
I now discovered that the temperature was too low (30°C) during the first two days. It's now up at 37°C. Will the low initial temperature cause problems?

Thanks in advance.

Hi there!

They shouldn't have started developing much during that time, so you'll likely end up with a late hatch. I don't think it will have killed them though, especially since you caught it early. Good luck.

Oh, and still air or forced air? Forced should be 37.7* and still air should be 38.6*.
