Temperature drops

I got a Brinsea Mini II Eco, set it up correctly etc., the problem I’m having is the temperature is dropping a LOT when I open up to turn my eggs and then taking a long time to get back up. Is this okay? How do I prevent it from dropping so much? It’s 37.7c usually, dropping to around 20c and taking about 30 minutes to climb back up to 37.7. Eggs have only been set for one day.

A hen will get off her eggs for up to an hour several times per day. During that time their temperature drops considerably. I don't think you need to worry.

Thank you! I was just a bit worried about it taking so long to go back up, but actually yeah, hens & nature aren’t always precise!!
