I have the Maddixcoop incubator and it seems like when I have it says 99.5 it doesn’t hold that well so I have to put it to 100 for it to be around there. Sometimes it goes closer to 100 but I think that’s better than it being at 98 or 97 and the humidity is kind a hard to keep low because I’m in Florida but I’ve been trying to keep it around 55. It seems like overnight for some reason it will drop so I have an alarm for the middle of the night to check on it but during the day it’s harder to keep the humidity down I can only add a tiny bit of water. I have five call duck eggs they were all shipped to me and the air sacs are not completely detached. They do wiggle, but they stay at the large side of the egg they don’t go all the way down to the middle so I am incubating them up right for now. My incubator does not turn but it tilts so I am going to see how they look in 2 to 3 days and hopefully I can put them in the turner or tilter I should say I have another 18 being shipped to me should be here by Monday. Hopefully those are in a little better condition but I think the loose air socks or some thing that I might not be able to get away from when they’re being shipped from New York like I said they stay in the top part of the egg, but they are slightly settled and they giggle a litte It’s hard to explain. It looks like the air, so I was slightly stretched, and you can see the air, so moving within the dark spot that was slightly stretched, but it stays up at the top, but it does jiggle when you move the egg but not the much it stays I. The top I had two that were really bad. One went all the way down the middle, and the other one was completely detached. The bubble was sliding through the whole egg, so I had to decide not to incubate those, but I was able to crack one open and it was fertile so I’m hoping for at least two out of four and we’ll see how the other ones go.
