I'm 4 days into incubation and my brinsea maxi advance and my brinsea liquid in glass thermometers are showing a 1 degree difference to each other (celsius)
I've ordered a third thermometer but until it arrives I'd like to know which thermometer would be most likely to be accurate?
The incubator is a few years old, the liquid thermometer is 1 year old.
Any advice greatfully received!

If I had to gamble I'd bet on the liquid thermometer.

To test a thermometer for accuracy:

Put it in a sealed Ziplock bag. Then fill a large bowl with ice, crushed ice is best if you have it. Fill it almost to the top with water and stir it around. Toss your bagged thermometer in there. Leave it for a few minutes at least. Some are slow to register. It should read 32F.

You can do the same thing with boiling water. Just as the water starts to boil the thermometer should read 212 F (100 C) at sea level. For incubation purposes I don't think you need to adjust the readings for altitude above sea level.

Since the temperatures we are worried about is around body temperature, I use a medical thermometer already calibrated in that temperature range to calibrate my incubating thermometer. They are not going to show freezing or boiling points anyway. I put the medical calibrated thermometer in the incubator and compare the readings to the incubating thermometer and make whatever adjustments are necessary to get to the correct temperature.
