I have a Little Giant Still Air Incubator. The thermometer that comes with it has 99.5* marked in bold. Is this the correct temperature?? From different things I have read, the temperature needs to be between 100 and 102. Different information from several different articles. Can I get some advice about what the right temperature should be?? I want to be successful this time. After losing 44 on my last attempt, I'd hate to do something wrong again. BTW...these are bantam eggs. I have had the incubator on for a little over 24 hours letting it regulate. I put in 1/4 cup of water. If there is anything else y'all think I should do, just let me know. I'm open to any advice I can get. Let me know what y'all think.

Thanks in advance! Wish me luck! I put 45 in about 1/2 an hour ago and I hope to have some precious babies in three weeks!?

Go with 99.5, But i have also heard that with a still air it should be 1 degree higher.

I have 6 LG's and I have always been told that with a still air the temp should 102- also I would buy a better temp guage one that shows humidty too.

Good luck!

Bye the way give the eggs 48 hours in the incubator before you adjust the temp up - also don't turn for the first 24 hours.

Okey dokey...I am going to go with 100ish.

It seems to be settling at about 100 since I put the eggs in. I'll just leave it at that for now. Thanks!!!!
