Temperature needs : Coturnix

i'm seriously considering getting some coturnix or bobwhites, i know people up here who keep them outside all winter in unheated sheds and runs.
 
I wouldn't worry about the bobwhite because they are a native species, but I have heard a lot of conflicting info about the coturnix. some say they are fine outside, others say they start dieing if the temperature is as low as 40... Most people here seem to agree that they will be fine outside...

Most of the wild Bobs dont make it outside here in Ohio except the very southern part. It get to cold in northern Ohio. So with the bobs I have they do have a small area to get out of the cold, their body heat will help if they have small area.
