To pass time in quarantine ,i made a incubator by watching youtube videos.Right now the temperature in the incubator is luke warm and humid. But the eggs feel kinda warmer. Im starting to get concerned about the temperature.I can't order a hygrometer as no one is delivering due to the virus.Does anyone know any traditional methods to check the temperature?Any help would be appreciated.

Hi! I too am in the zero dollar diy incubator club! I stuck like three meat and medical thermometers through the sides of my incubator and adjusted temp. until all readings were in the appropriate 98-102 range. This method isn't super accurate but I got it close enough that all of my eggs developed (or started to, at least)

That's wierd ,three days ago when i checked they were all saying currently unavailable now they are all open .Thanks anyways.

I ordered but i don't think it'll arrive anytime soon. Transportation in india right now is pretty tight. Anyone have any other methods?

They don't sell any reptiles near me.

I've checked all local pet stores ,all they sell are birds ,fish ,cats and dogs.

Hi Kantesh,
How big is your bator?
When I had a 2-1/2" cup in my hovabator incubator I had about 18%. A 4" cup brought it up to 48%.
Where are you located? Sounds like you're doing the best you can.
