I just put 7 cuckoo maran eggs in my hova bator 3 days ago and just realized someone I won't name (my husband) put an ambiant heater right near the bator to keep our other chicks warm at night without me knowing. So, this morning when I checked the temp in the bator it was about 110 degrees...I quickly opened the top and brought the temp down. But when I asked, he said he did this the night before as well...so there were possibly 2 nights with the temp up to 110 degrees!![IMG]
Is there any chance they'll survive?
I guess I will candle at day 7, but they're dark eggs so I don't know if I'll be able to see.

    Odds are not good????

I did have a good hatch after having the internal egg temp at 104.9 all night one night early on.

I wonder if there is a way to check before day 7?
