Hello Everybody,
I hope you're doing well, i have a problem and i hope you will give me an answer. I have an home made incubator for 60 eggs, i have an temperature regulation inside it and it was fine during my first hatch, it hatched about 85% of the eggs. Now im at the second hatch at day 13 and last night while i was rotating the eggs i turned the light on in the incubator and i forggot until this morning, i saw the temperature was 40.1C. Lighted about 7 eggs and 5 off them looks fine and embryo is moving inside the egg, please tell me if there will be any problem on hatch. I know i ****ed up but i would like to hear your previous experiences. Im so nervous right now and sad also i would like to hear from you😔

:hugsWhat is done,,, is in the past. Some of your eggs may not make it. Some , especially those that may have been lower level or further from heat,, may be fine.
It is not like your chicks will be deformed when hatched. They will be alive, or not.
Take into consideration that peeps have broody hens sit on eggs in VERY HOT CLIMATES. Most try to avoid hens going broody during hot days, for the health of their hens. The eggs may get pretty hot when outdoor temps are 110°F . You at 40°C only got to 104°F.
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and:welcome

I want to let you know that i had 41 from 45 fertile eggs hatched.
Thank you for your support
