Hi everyone, I have two baby chicks right now. I got them on April 6th and its April 29th now. I live in Arizona and its pretty hot here already, in the 90s and 80s. I've had them in my garage since I've gotten them and at first I had a light on them 24/7 but this past week and a half I turned their light off because they were panting and getting too hot. My question is if I put them outside tonight would they be okay? They are in a stock tank and I would put a towel over half of the tank and keep their light on all night. It's supposed to be around 63 degrees tonight so I'm not sure if that's too cold?

No need for a light in the daytime. At night when the temps drop that low, they should still have a light on, until they are feathered out. Raise the light, so they're not too hot, or only put the light towards one end, so they can move away to a cooler spot, as needed.

Should they be okay being outside of the garage, in my backyard in the stock tank of it gets that cold?
