Temperature

We are down to 22 this morning and my 4 Runner ducklings at just over 7 weeks old have done great but that is 4 together in a stall separated from the rest for their protection. No draft and deep litter. Fully feathered.

With more ducks they can share each other's heat. At 8 weeks and fully feathered, Muscovy generally could handle weather into the F teens, if dry, with bedding, and out of the wind. I don't know about the other breeds. I plan to provide a battery power pack and a low wattage waterproof heat pad on those really cold single digit nights. If he/she has water, it'll need warming.

Here's an idea: https://www.amazon.com/Pet-Products-Thermo-Peep-Heated-Pad/dp/B00JHK375E/ref=sr_1_10?crid=10550V21GZ1PR&keywords=k+&+h+heating+pad&qid=1698929902&sprefix=K+&+H,aps,96&sr=8-10
