So i have seen a lot in the last few days that going slightly above temp for a short period of time is usually okay. What about being a few degrees below temp?

I am still waiting on my chicks, today is day 21. And so far no pip or peeps

I am trying to be patient but its hard! When I put them in the bator it was around 8pm, so hopefully tomorrow.

If not, how long should I wait before admitting defeat?

whatever u do dont give up ive had them up too 3 days late like on day 24 and ive heard of them been as much as 7 days late....hold on and good luck....i bet there ok

Low temps in the incubator would mean late hatches...I'd wait til day 24 or 25...

I don't really have an answer, other than wait a few days.

My incubator is currently fluctuating between 100-102. Fun times, let me tell ya. I'm praying they actually hatch okay.

Well i know for a few days the temp was really annoying me and i would come in to check and it would be like 95/96. So Low temp just means slower development. Well that makes me feel a little better (since they were all alive on day 18)

I appreciate it, I'll take all the good vibes i can and pass them to the babies!
