I am curious, after adding extra water (I can add without opening) during lockdown my incubators temp went down to 97.5 and for some reason is staying there much longer than I anticipated (several hours). Three eggs pipped and out of those three two have hatched, I am wondering if it is all right to just leave it there? I am thinking that because the chicks are fully formed and survive at 95 in the brooder they will be able to handle this temp. better than risking a temp spike while I am away?

Did you use hot water to the bator? If not that may have why. I wouldn't touch the temp. Good luck.
