Temporary Coop HELP!!!

Might want to leave the dog crate in the enclosure for night time roosting, maybe even lock them in there to keep them away from the chain link walls to avoid reach thru's.

Will that cause any significant psychological damage to them? Silly question, maybe... but I know chickens like roosting. Will it make a difference??

I used a large wire dog crate and stuck a roost thru the sides, I would think they may feel safe in there if you bring them home in it and leave them in there for the first 24 hours or so.

The kennel is more like a crate. Think a cat carrier, but large enough to hold a Labrador Retriever.

It's not the wire kind you could stick a roost through. :( I see where you're going with that, though!
