I don’t have a proper coop to keep them in the winter. I would like to be able to transfer my chicken to a bigger barn for the winter. I love my chickens and wouldn’t want to cull them. I have 4 rooster and 9 hens. Any help or advise would be nice thank you.

Where do you live? Your climate makes a huge difference in how you shelter your flock in the winter. You may still have time to build a coop too. There are many inexpensive alternatives to traditional coops such as hoop coops and coops made of pallet wood.
As a side note, you should probably rehome 3 of your males. How old are they? That is really too many males for the number of females once they all reach maturity.

I agree with previous poster. I would look into maybe building a new coop BUT do you have pictures of their current coop? You might be able to do something with it for the winter months. Your location will help determine a lot of factors.

And my rehoming 3 of the Roos you won’t need as much space either. Not only reaching maturity would it be bad for your hens but also they will fit each other if you don’t have enough space for them. Free ranging might help with that too but you for sure want a large area at night too.
