I have a tractor supply pro series model 4250 incubator. I am incubating silkie eggs. The factory preset is 99.5 to 100. I have an egg o meter in there and with me upping the incubator setting to 101.5 the eggometer reads 99.5 -100.6...I put a second thermometer in and it reads something different and my yard thermometer reads about 99 and change...do i go by incubator settings or egg o meter?this is my first time...want it on lower side for better chance of hen's if there is anything to that.

I would calibrate them. There are lots of good articles on here about it. I don't think the temp has anything to do with it, although it may kill off some male embryos. I would just incubate at 99.5 like usual.
