I just had a good Hatch with this on 5/6/20 i cleaned it and set it aside now I ran this incubator 24 hours in prep for today and it was fine now that I put the eggs in the temps are off for some reason. I have two separate humidity and temperature gauges inside the incubator seperate from the one that that is built in.

The Incubator is reading 38C but my hygrometers are saying 94F 🤔

Any ideas!?

I have a Janoel 12. I set it at 37.5. After 2 cheap digital thermometers gave unbelievably higher and lower readings, I got a IncuTherm thermometer/hygrometer, from Incubator Warehouse, which claims it is one of the most accurate. "The IncuTherm Series has been factory calibrated to be accurate to within +/- 1°F (0.5°C) in the incubation temperature ranges. " I placed it in the incubator where I could easily see it. It showed that the Janoel was holding the temp just fine. And I had a successful hatch last week. I paid about $16, and feel it was well worth it.

I just figured out the settings and now the 2 are reading different from each other 😭😭😭

The temp shown on the incubator is what it is set at. I understand that it is not showing the actual temp unless it is flashing to show it is too low. Just because a thermometer is digital doesn't mean it is accurate. I was in the same boat until I got a good thermometer.

I get being 1 or 2 degrees off but they were 5-7 degrees off!
