Yeah, my fault for coming to you for help with my addiction.

Part of the problem is that I hatched last year with my boys and it was DO GREAT! We hatched 8 geese and they were the bees knees, just the funnest little baby things ever.

My poor hubby... he'll faint!

I have giant blue cochin eggs in the bator right now to hatch on New Years Eve/Day. I could send you baby pictures.... (If I am successful, first time hatching

You will absolutley love the big blue cochins. They are amazing to look at, and their temperment is awesome. I have "20 something" blue/blue splash chicks in the basement brooders right now, ages 1 week to 8 weeks. They are almost all lap chickens, and fight over who can jump up into your hands to be held first. I just put a dozen more eggs in the bator, cuz when these little characters go outside, I'm gonna miss 'em, and that's a first for me, lol.

Where'd you get the eggs? Are they from your own?

Mine are laying sporadically right now but I got a few shipped from a breeder who has exceptional quality blue cochins, and I've had a 80-90% hatch rate with his shipped eggs. He has some on Ebay right now and I'll PM you the link to his auction. I VERY highly reccommend him.

Well then Millebantam, maybe if you wind up with too many giant blue cochin hens you might want to sell one to a poor Massachusetts resident who pays too much in taxes in order to support our local legislator's pensions!!!!
