My brooder is in the house with 19 chicks that I hatched from eggs. I have one chick that is picking at a spot right where the wing starts, I wouldn't think this could be mites as they have never been out doors, and I am using clean pine shavings for the bedding. Is this normal, or something I should be concerned about? All of these chicks have been very healthy since hatch day. Thank you for any replies!
