Hello all,
My name is Zac, and I am currently in construction on my first coop. My family has wanted backyard chickens for several months now, and after some minor setbacks we are ready to roll! I have been learning about sustainability and have also started a garden this year. My goal is to get my coop up and a flock of 6 hens running around before school starts back (I am a teacher). We hope to incorporate the hens into our daily routine with our kids also. I have never been around a chicken in my life, so any and all tips are appreciated. Thanks and God bless!
