Terramycin ointment-out of stock/backordered

I use neosporin for eye infections and it works wonders, and much cheaper than the small tube of eye ointment for horses.

I think if I would have used the neosporin twice daily *everyday* I probably would have got them healed! We'd left for the long weekend and when we returned they looked fine but later that evening they were shut again. Plus momma cat was sneezing and so were the kittens, so took them all to the vet to get treated!

Maybe, maybe not.. They may contain the exact same active ingredients, but what about the inactive ingredients? My understanding is that actual eye ointments are buffered for use in eyes.......is Neosporin?

My guess is that it's not.

I understand what you're saying, but if many big time producers have used it with no problems, I'll go on their advice.

Regarding the 'fatmansdoghouse' link...Terramycin ophthalmic was highway robbery at $10 for a 1/8th oz tube, and this guy's charging $20?

No thanks. He might have some of the last of it on planet Earth, but...well, that's ridiculous.

And regarding the eBay link...for some reason, I just don't trust eBay when it comes to meds -- especially when they're offering a 2-pack for $6, where Jeffers charged like $10 for a single tube. Notice that 'antibacterial' is spelled 'antibakteriyel'...clearly not intended for the US.

I dunno...perhaps just me being weird.
