Terrible table manners

I have a new flock of 5 young girls, they have a hanging feeder and are getting grower crumble.
One of the girls has the worst table manners ever, she will throw out all the food in a couple of hours, spreading it everywhere.

Any suggestions?

Yeah, they don't care how much the food costs cause you'll keep bringing it.

Several things you can do.

Get a feeder with fins which prevent billing out.

There's a similar one I like better but I can't find a picture of it. I think it is at tractor supply.

Put a catch pan under the feeder to save the feed from going onto the ground.

Ferment the feed and they won't bill it out.

feed them just enough or even a little under they will pick up anything they can eat from the ground.

I wet the food for mine and they eat all of it. They look pretty funny with it on their beaks while they're eating.

I've actually taught mine a lesson!

I went ahead and let them spill their food to their heart's content. But then I didn't refill the feeder until they had eaten all of it on the ground amongst their bedding and droppings. They have never spilled as much since!
