Are there rules as to where you can let them go?

I mean - let them go in your back yard if there are no RULES

She posted pics of the geneas in the field by her house. Would the field qualify? They would be close enough for her to keep an eye on.

Anything would be better than Metro DC for a duck and ducklings...talk about a traffic mess...

...Not sure she could make it to the Potomac with ducklings undertow......

Don't you have to have a permit to hunt? All migratory birds are federally protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918

There are times when you can hunt and times you can't. If you hunt out of season it is poaching and a whole 'nother thing.

Yes. I had to take a test and get my card then get my license, but I thought you meant they were protected as in almost endangerd. thanks for clearing that up for me
