Testament To Spoiled Ducks

My boss knows how much I love ducks (actually, everyone knows). When I told her I got new ducklings and showed her their picture, she thought they were "soooo cuuuuute", so I (manipulatively) told her, "Yeah, [other employee's name] keeps asking me if I'm going to bring them in...." and POOF! I was given permission haha. I love duck days at work.

I was talking to my coworker when my ducks were older and he asked me if I could stay at work late- I told him I can but I have to be home before sunset and he said, “Are you going to turn into a pumpkin?!” It was so funny! I explained that I had to put my ducks asleep. Now, my husband usually puts the ducks to bed, but I always text him as a reminder and ask “Are the ducks pumpkins?”.
I’m pretty much the duck lady at work, customers and coworkers always ask for pictures and videos and how they’re doing!

This is adorable! I love ducklings :love

My husband tucked our old ducks into bed too!!! Sadly they are no longer with us (damn raccoon lifted the roof off of our "predator proof" coop). I told my husband that we need to be sure to set an alarm to tuck them in every night, because we are expecting our first child within the month, and I'm so afraid that we will be so busy and forget to put them in their coop! I love them too much to let any harm befall them :hit

Oh goodness! You won’t forget about your feathered babies, but alarms are always useful. And congrats!!! Human babies are super cute too ;)

I'm honestly worried that I wont find my baby as cute as ducklings lol (I'm a terrible person).
Yeah I'm already super watchful over my ducks, so I don't think I will forget, but you never know. Better safe than sorry I suppose :)

You aren’t terrible! I used to be called “baby crazy” at work because I jut thought babies were so cute! I still do, but I think have my ducklings made me not so obsessed with human babies. Hahaha
