Hello, brodysam.
It sounds like you are pretty covered up with willing recipients, but I thought that I might throw my name in the hat if it is okay.
I do not have a lot of money, but I would not mind covering the costs you mentioned and I would love to have some copper marans to add to my flock of happy free day ranging chickens. I have a clean 16 x 20 coop with many perches and large brooders and the chickens that are old enough all free range throughout my yard and garden daily and get locked up in the coop at night. They also have large feeders, automatic watering bowl, and a fan for air circulation in hot weather.
Also, I am not too far from you either (I live in NW Florida - Pensacola 32505) and can put your eggs into the incubator (already constantly regulated and working now) right away with some others here. Comparing the results of shipping the shorter distance from GA to NW Florida to that of shipping longer distances might help you to get a better idea of your shipping ability versus the ability of the postal service to adequately handle your eggs.
Well, there is my pitch. Hope you like it.
Thanks,
Stephen
