I currently have a rooster that has been sick with some sort of respiratory infection for almost a week and no one else in the flock is showing any signs of illness.
Im suspecting its Mycoplasma Gallisepticum or possibly Infectious Bronchitis.
I would like to get a test done but have no clue on where to buy a test that i can do on my own and send out without a veterinarian.
I live in Ohio

You can contact the state vet in OH, and ask them about a PCR test for respiratory diseases. Or you could contact a national lab, such as Zoologix in CA, who can send you testing swabs that can be mailed back to them. They can test for up to 8 different respiratory diseases. It is best to collect the swabs when the bird is sick and having symptoms. If you lose a bird, your state vet could perform a necropsy and testing, and those results would be even more accurate. A necropsy for a backyard bird was $23 a couple of years ago when I checked, if you brought the body into them. Here is a list of state vets:

The Zoologix link may help to do your own testing. I think U of GA also does this testing, so you could check around online. Whether it is MG or not, I would close your flock. IB virus can make a flock carriers for 5 months to a year after recovery. MG would make them carriers for life. A necropsy if you lose one someday, is the best and cheapest way to know what the diagnosis is.
