personally i haven't noticed more or better or earlier meat on 1 color from another.
Plus, all the whites are much harder to sex than golds and browns.

You defiantly have to vent sex or beer sex the white birds. English whites, or jumbo/A&M whites or what ever you call them.

Whites come in 2 flavors. English/rosetta whites, and wild pattern/jumbo white/A&M.

English/rosetta whites are the whitest birds on the planet....that's why they are often the most traded birds. Jumbo whites are the white version of the wild pattern birds, and are the largest of the white birds, though they are not the whitest. Just check out ebay, and when a seller says "Very white birds", that means....VERY SMALL BIRDS.

A coturnix is a coturnix is a coturnix, and if it only grows to 7 oz. at 8 weeks, then it doesn't get much larger....still a fine bird, but.....NOPE!

Egg production from what I know from mt first go with these birds. It was phenomenal these babies can lay some eggs. Seemed like every female laid an egg. I had eggs everywhere I sold some but couldn't ever get many customers I would boil them & feed them back to all my birds. Just make sure you crunch them up real good. I wish you luck its a hard row to hoe. I'm just trying to break even & put some on the pit. Their tasty that's for sure. I'm gonna BBQ some one Saturday & sell them as quail on a stick.
