Texan Needs Help and Feed By The Ton.

Maybe someone can help me. I live in East TEXAS and have a small chicken buisness, we have been buying our feed from Atwoods, but at that rate all our profits will be eaten by the chickens.

Most grain mills I have called won't give me bulk discount unless I buy at least 6 TONS.

I also need advice as to wether it is worth spending $2-5 dollars more for the 20% layer pellet as compared to the 16% layer pellet.

I do not know of a feed mill to link you to, sorry.

May I ask what brand name you are referring to when you talk about the layer pellets?

Most breeds do just fine on the 16% protein amount.
What breeds do you have?

Thank you for your reply. As far as brand I can't afford to be picky, I buy what I can afford. Which right now is Atwoods Brand.

My chicken breeds are;
Splash Maran, Rhode Island Red, Barred Rock, Leghorn, Black sex link.
